We are growing!
We are now inviting children aged 6-9 to join our community of young Montessori learners in Edinburgh and are preparing for our opening of The Montessori School in Autumn 2022 that will in time cater for children up to 12. Inspired by the methodology and values of Maria Montessori, the children will be guided through the Montessori curriculum by a highly skilled and experienced teacher. Children will have the opportunity to explore inspiring bespoke Montessori materials in a peaceful classroom setting, giving them the chance to ask questions, make connections, problem solve and develop important critical thinking skills. The Montessori method is respected globally for promoting individually paced learning, fostering independence and encouraging empathy and a joy in lifelong learning. Our timetable will integrate art education, Spanish language learning and physical exercise, as well as Forest School activities. All sessions will be facilitated by specialist educators and approached in a cross-curriculum manner. We are so happy to be expanding our provision of Montessori education to provide an Elementary classroom for children aged 6-10 now and in time for children aged 6-12.
