Welcome to The Montessori Nursery and Primary School in Edinburgh for children aged 2.5 - 12 years. 

The Montessori  Nursery  and School are  warm, happy and welcoming learning environments for children aged from 2.5 to 12 years. Located close to the city centre, in beautiful, leafy Murrayfield, this hidden gem has been providing outstanding Montessori education for over 35 years.

Our  Montessori Nursery hold grades of Very Good in all areas with the Care Inspectorate,  and our Primary School was inspected   by  Education Scotland in December 2023, receiving a grade of  Very Good in the areas of Learning, Teaching and Assessment; and Curriculum.  You can access their finding here:-

We are open between 8.15 am and 3.15 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.15-12.45 pm Fridays during term time.
